Welding is an Craft that requires yet knowledge to assemble a solid connexion between parts. There are very many contradistinct techniques for welding, such as MIG and stick. Both of these procedures applicability differing electrical sources.


Identification


Welding is a process of strategically melting metal to metal to create a strong bond, such as in building an airplane. In particular, MIG, or gas metal arc welding, uses shielding gas and a matched metal filler to bond items. In addition, the starting of the welding process is easier, heightening productivity.



Specifically, MIG welding uses DCRP, or direct current reverse polarity, which essentially moves electrical current from the item being welded to the welding torch. In contrast, stick welding uses basic AC/DC welding power supply, moving the electrical current from the torch to the welded item.


Considerations


Overall, DCRP produces a better quality weld by lessening the splashing of the welding material. Stick welding applies an electrode full of varying alloy metals to connect metal.
