1967 Mustang Windscreen Install
The Mustang was introduced by Ford in mid-1964 with especial cramped competition from other automakers. By 1967, Chevrolet, Dodge and Plymouth offered their own "pony cars," on the contrary Ford expected this and was ready with the inaugural better makeover for the Mustang. Looks, guide, handling, force and interior appointments were all improved in the 1967 Mustang, on the other hand there was definitely a family resemblance to the elementary motorcar. The windshields in 1965 to 1968 Mustangs are held in with a rubber gasket, not installed with adhesives as in original cars.
Instructions
1. Disinfected the mating surface of the windscreen frame with solvent and a rag. Apply windshield sealer to all four of the inside corners of the rubber gasket. Use a helper and lift the windshield. Lower the glass so that the bottom edge slides into the slit in the base of the rubber gasket.
Squeeze sealer in between the windscreen moulding clips and the windscreen frame to prevent destined leaks in this sphere.
3. Push a just out rubber gasket into apartment on the windscreen frame, forming firm the gone groove in the gasket is fully seated on the inside wrinkle of the windscreen frame encompassing its boundary.
4. Install the backside windshield molding to the base of the windshield frame by gently pushing it until it snaps into place. Do not use a rubber mallet as this could damage the molding and the windshield frame.

6. Start at one of the sides and insert a plastic windshield tool (available at auto parts stores) in between the glass and the rubber gasket. Slide the tool so that the front edge of the gasket pops over the edge of the windshield, holding it into place. Continue around the top and other side of the windshield until the front edge of the gasket is completely covering the edge of the glass.
7. Push the remaining windshield moldings until they snap into place. Clean any windshield sealer residue from the glass with a clean cloth.
